There will come a time when dust will be obsolete! Therefore, dusting will be obsolete as well!

Time

Posted by M , 6:07 AM

I've been so obsessed with the concept of time lately. At 12pm Saturday, as I wake up, I think of having lunch at the office on weekdays. Before an event I imagine, tomorrow, at this hour, I will be on my way to the venue. After something great has happened, I reminisce, "this time yesterday, I was happy."

Time is always in a hurry. I think that scarcity of time is more important than scarcity of food. For food feeds the body but time and everything that happens in its duration feed our soul.

My long shot There Will Come a Time post is

There will come a time when we will be able to manage time, and somewhat control it, maybe buy it! So we could feel the present as if it was forever, wish for the future without fear that we would lose it in a blink of an eye, and see the past without wanting to go back because we had enough of it.

Vacation vs Work

Posted by M , Thursday, July 1, 2010 8:29 PM

Pasig day today! Therefore, I woke up late and am now surfing the internet at 12noon. Just like the old unemployed times :) Did I mention that the other day was a holiday as well bec of the new president's inauguration? This is the life!

Too bad, after this weekend it's going to be all work!

Oh well, there will come a time when technology would solve the problem on physical boundaries and would allow us to work at home, at the beach and at anywhere we want!

There will come a time when no campaign is needed to eliminate hate and discrimination towards gay people.

You've Got to Start at Something

I've been thinking about putting up this blog for months. Every time I wish that someday (insert random wish here), I always continue the statement with "Oh well, there will come a time..."

Just take the case of women's suffrage, it was like an illusion centuries ago. In ancient Athenian democracy, women were not even considered as citizens. Well, not until New Zealand granted all citizens, including women, to elect their officials in 1893 and Finland gave full suffrage in 1906 which allowed women to vote and to run for office as well.

This blog is dedicated to hopeful people who can think that nothing is impossible. :)
